Little League Photography
Pretty Good Photography schedules your team photos around your team's existing schedules. There is no extra "picture day" event to fit on the family calendar; picture day just means a slightly earlier start time for your normally scheduled game.
This approach is more work for us. It involves coming out on several different days and times throughout the season to get all the teams in the league at times convenient for them, which is why we only serve little leagues in Norwich, CT, and surrounding towns.
It's 100% worth the extra effort to get more of each team in their team photo, while also making life a little simpler for every single family in your league.
Families will receive a link to a private gallery for online ordering, offering high-resolution digital downloads, as well as prints delivered directly to your door.
If you're a league director and you're interested in working with me, please call or text to learn more.
Soccer Mom Story Time
Truth is, this right here is why Pretty Good Photography exists.
I loved playing soccer growing up, and then I loved being a soccer mom once I had kids. I even got to coach for a few years. What I didn't love was "picture day". The schedule was always really tough for families, and that's on top of a normal Saturday soccer game schedule, which is already a tough schedule!
On numerous occasions, I volunteered to take team and individual photos for our own teams, on our schedule, and the team families were always so happy and relieved to have that experience simplified for them! But taking the pictures for one or two teams a year didn't solve the problem. I knew I could do this in a way that made things easier for the whole league, because I already did it for a youth baseball league - over 20 years ago. That was my start as a professional portrait photographer.
We may live in a time where we're swimming in pictures. But most of them live on our smartphones and never find their way into print. And for many of us, those smartphone snapshots capture memories...but they don't replace the value of the occasional posed portrait taken with a real camera.
I'm really excited to make picture day better for all the other soccer moms in my local community. Hope to see you out on the field.
